If you are reading this now, you can thank Jun Po Denis Kelly Roshi (1942-2021), founder of Hollow Bones Zen.
In the decades of his Zen practice and work with the Mankind Project after leaving Dai Bosatsu Zendo in 1993, Jun Po had a profound impact on countless beings through his books, teachings, sesshins, dokusan, and the never-ending Mondo Party.

Jun Po, intent on bringing Zen teachings into the 21st century world, developed the Mondo Zen Koan process to help people discover their true nature and learn the truth underlying all negative emotions. These koans were transformative, leading to personal growth and liberation for scores of people around the world.
We will pause on Saturday, April 19, to reflect on the paths our lives have taken after discovering Hollow Bones and pay our respects to Jun Po during our annual Jun Po Memorial sit.
If you remember how Jun Po helped you abide in Clear Deep Heart Mind, helped you realize samadhi, or in any way helped relieve your suffering, please take time to join us on the cushion once again to sit as sangha and in gratitude, celebrate the life, teachings, and times of Jun Po Kando Denis Kelly Roshi.
Deep bows, Roshi. We party on.
