Annual Retreats
Join us for a deeper experience of Zen. There is no time like the present.

The tradition of sesshin began with the Buddha’s intense sitting under the Bodhi
tree. The word “sesshin” literally means “collecting the heart” or “touching the
heart-mind.”
At our 6-day sesshin and our shorter 4-day retreats, we engage in focused,
intensive practice mostly in silence. Free from distractions, we can meditate with
time and space to look more deeply into ourselves. As we practice, eat, and work
together, we connect with not only to ourselves, but also with sangha, our
community of spiritual friends. Touching One Heart, One Mind.
