Contemplations on Fear (Jan – April)

hosted by Vicara Mary Connelly Roshi and Reishin Denise Leong

Join us for this exploration of Zen practice in the face of fear.

Impermanence! How do we recognize and face our fears about constant change and the steady loss of … well … everything? How can we stop being afraid of fear? Through readings, teachings, reflections, and discussion, let us explore ways to open and befriend our fears to deal with whatever life brings us. There will be articles, podcasts, and book chapters to review for each month’s open forum.

Discussion forums on Moodle (optional) will also be available between meetings.

Meeting Dates:

January 22, February 26, March 26, April 23
